  • I looking for an old school game title.

A long time ago (early 90's) I had a Philips CD-i video game console. At least I think that's what it was called. Anyways, there was this point-and-click game that I had, and I cannot for the life of me remember the title of this game.

Here is a brief description from memory of the game:

You're in a small town, and you are looking for an artifact or treasure hidden by an old sailor or whaler from this town.

Not much to go on I know...But that's all I got. Not to mention, I'm not sure if the console is correct, because when I look at the picture of it I don't remember the controllers having cables. I remember them being similar to the Xbox 360 controllers (wireless).

Anyways...if someone could help me with this mystery!! I really want to remember this game and find this console and purchase it.

Maybe you can find the console on this page

As for the game, it could "Monkey Island". The age and story checks out. Hope you find it

      Thanks Oscar...

The title of the game is a man's name.

Sorry, never played console but it sounds like Monkey Island as OscarW said.

A student who changes the course of history is probably taking an exam.

As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong?

It has real life picture scenes, similar to some of melting-mindz games...

I FOUND IT! The console is called Memorex VIS (Video Information System) and the game I have been looking for is called "The Secrets of Hosea Freeman".
