Somewhat dizzying

It was going well, then when I spun the crank /w gauge box, to spin the 1-4 correct cranks as per the number clue, then entered the 2nd numbers...at #2 it froze on the door view....
nothing will unfreeze....next game (too bad as unique game; the movements just seemed complete backwards).
...replayed; exactly the same happened...after entering 2nd number by using the 4 cranks, game froze at door view again....
