The code from the brick, opened the cupboard with the diagram after I put it in the locker, this gave a different code for the locker.

To get the code for the locker look at the diagram on the cupboard door. It shows a brick in relation to a door. Go to the room with the ladder (don't climb it) and find that brick. What you get there will help you find the combination
