Missing a bit of wire. Any hints?

Used items stay in your inventory, absolutely annoying.
What was it all about anyways? Confuzzled.

Too bad that I am the first and only one here because I am stuck and could use some help.
Found

srewdriver (used), battery, funnel (used), wire bit, laptop timer, laptop cable, floppydisk (used), chemical (used), test tube with content (used), cello tape, conical flask with blue content (used)

Now I'm left with a lot of hard thinking about what to do.
Going back and try some things.


Edit1: did something with one of the items

conical flask with blue content

and could pick up two other items after that but don't know what it is because the inventory is bugged and is calling my items pistol and gunholster.
To me the items look like

conical flasks with yellow content

Now what to do if inventory isn't helping me much???

Saw some bottles but wasn't able to use them before but now

poured in bottle2 the item that says gunholster and in bottle1 the item called pistol

Next???

Although I have used items they are still in my inventory.

use SD on them, after that you can take them. In inventory you can put them together and use wire bit, laptoptimer, battery and cello tape on the bottles. Now what to do with them??

Was overthinking the whole thing.
Had to use EG24 again.

Edit6:

put bottles next to laptop with the cable and then you can leave. The door will be already open earlier on in the game but you cann't leave then.
