When you look at the stairs from the side, click on the floor at the bottom right area. You should be zoomed in. Then use the crowbar on one of the planks.

Large screws:

(Room 1) 1 in green box on top shelf. 2 under bed. 1 behind chair. 1 in fireplace. 1 under plank(use crowbar)
(Room 2) 1 in big box. 1 behind big box.
Total: 8

Hmmm, that's strange, in that case

you might have missed to make some holes maybe? Otherswise the drill wouldn't be available anymore...

Did you make

8 holes, and added the big screws? And then used the screwdriver on them?
