Well, in Switzerland there is no traditional food either, but most people eat ham or meat.
In Hungary, people mostly eat fish or turkey. We have always had a fish soup and fried fish, and that's what I have taken over to my family. But when we visit my hunbun's parents, they mostly prepare turkey. But we can't visit them this year

I love to eat fish now and then. I always prefered it above meat (talking about the taste). Sorry you can't visit your husbun parents this year with Christmas. But I hope you can visit them soon.
