I'm going bald trying to get out of this room. I don't know if I'm just too stupid or something but I can't combine anything at the end. I have eight little green men, a bar and one green man in the inventory.

click about for the green man click one and they will all align, appli bar to it ovously use it as the key

And how many little green man do I supposed to have?

Out! I feel like such a goof because it took me a minute to realize what was going wrong with the key!

Something has to be inserted into the square notch in the middle of the stacked green men. Try inspecting an area where you find one of the green men a bit more closely for something that looks a bit like, oh I dunno, a square peg.
