Ruby - Lounge Escape

Pressed 6 buttons(?), found gem. Came back to 1st room and drawer was open, and now have wrench.
Installed gem, looks like I need 2 more. No idea where to use wrench...
Okay, used wrench on 4 bolts (looked like screws) and now have magnet.
Have a book but, it's blank and no idea where to used magnet...?
Had to seek help (thanks @Kzin for colour combo)...now have pliers, and now have rope.
Joined items and now have shovel and 2nd gem.
Used shovel, now have 3rd gem and I'm out.
Okay game but, parts of game did not make sense...was book to have colour clue, but forgotten...and why to tiny?
