I have an obsession with studying the brain. I Love love love and I mean love reading up on Neuropsychology. Kinda sick huh? lol I'm a "brainy" worm. Even my hubby asks me why I won't read a real book. BTW his favorite books are Harry Potter too. hehe... I told on him.

It is kinda funny when we go to the beach he reads the latest Harry Potter book and I bring a "brain" type book. lol I must look funny to people.

It's where most of my psychological resarch has been done (My area of interest in Psychology). It helps me understand the structures and workings of the brain. It also helps me understand things such as how drugs affect the brain, give better understanding of disorders of the brain, and how medications, chemicals, neurons, and our own biology (just to name a few) affect the workings of the brain. That way when I counsel people I can better treat disorders, knowing exactly what to do, and wether or not to give them drugs because I know how they work. Stuff like that. Hehe...my hubby says I'm gonna bore ya all by explaining this.

It is not boring but interesting. The brain is a fascinating organ. I also like to read topics about anatomy, fysiology and pathology. I hope one day all parts will fall together as one piece. But that is a long way to go. If one question has been answered, at least two questions are coming up.

Books I did love to read are: Never ending story (Michael Ende), Bommel (Marten Toonder), the serie: Children of mother earth (Thea Beckman), Clan of the cave bear (JM Auel), Sidhartha (Herman Hesse), etc. Have somebody read one or more of these books?

My favorite books are Nancy Drew Series, A-Z mysteries, Cam Jansen, Bailey school kids series, The Enormous Egg, here comes Charlie, Digital Detectives Series and Junie B. Jones series.

Also, the Game Mandrakes Mansion is one of the Digital Detectives Series online. Digital Detective requires the internet too. Mandrakes Mansion is from Digital Detectives: When nightmares come true #2. There are only three books I know in the series.

I've read some short strips of Bommel and I started with Children of Mother Earth, but it was a couple of years ago and i didn't like it (guess i was too young) but except for that serie i've read almost every single book of Thea Beckman, when i see a new one i don't read what it's about, i just take it cuz i'm sure i will like it. have you read the other serie of her, the titles of the first and second book are Geef me de Ruimte and Het Rad van Fortuin?

Yes I did read both tittles you named, the third is "triomf van de verschroeide aarde", but I never read that one, because this sery is not my favorite one.
I still must read "kruistocht in spijkerbroek". My hubby's father has all the books of Thea Beckman, so when we going to visit and stay a night by his parents, I am going to read it.
