I was fading in and out of consciousness as the ambulance raced through the streets. I couldn’t hear them talk, but I could feel hot breath as it hit my skin and someone touching my hand. There was pressure on my arm.

Suddenly, a large black tunnel emerged in front of me. At the end, there was a light. Remembering most people saying “don’t go toward the light” I turned away from it and headed in the opposite direction. I felt an intense pressure in my chest that grew in force second by second. My heart was stopped, I realized, and it was trying to beat again.

“Clear!” a strange noise reached me ears. My heart made a thhhhhhwap thwap sound and started beating again. I drew in a big breath and opened my eyes.
“Where’s Damien?” I screamed. The doctors looked startled at my sudden statement, then put a mask over my face. I was out like a light.

Hours later I awoke in a hospital bed for the second time. Damien was sitting in a chair with his head in his hands. My arm ached. Then I remembered the vivid dream I had and gasped. The thing in my nose protested, but didn’t fall.

“Rose? How are you?” Damien was instantly at my side.

“Peachy.” I mumbled. I was angry that I had that dream.

“The doctors told me that you screamed for me when they revived you. Is that true?”

“I don’t know.” I lied. I didn’t want him to know the dream I had."...

I guess I was confused, because that sounds like it was in the ambulance, lol.

Actually now that I think of it maybe you need a license to use a Defibrillator so you don't end up killing the person your trying to save (Like you need to go through training for a license)
