Graffiti on walls of others without their permission or on trains etc. is vandalism, I agree. However putting graffiti at places where you are allowed to, isn't vandalism (e.g. on paper, on walls in agreement with the owner etc.).
I think that there is a need for differentiation, and graffiti per se should be considered as art. Applying any kind of art on places without the permission of the owner is illegal of course.
Btw, we have a tunnel nearby that leads to a little shop center. It was vandalized by graffiti tags etc. Then our city mayor made an agreement with the highschool for art nearby, and allowed them to create their artistic graffiti during a project on the whole tunnel. With the result that the tunnel walls look really nice, and that vandals don't use this wall again.

I have no problem with public art Mistery, though I hesitate to call some of it "art".
I live in a rural area, awhile back some taggers/"graffiti artists" went up the empty road behind us & tagged the rocks. My neighbor & I made a sign to the effect that if we caught them that they would become food for the coyotes & buzzards.
They haven't been back."If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a man and a dog"

Thanks!!!
Yeah i know, when i try to draw curves/circles my mouse gets stuck and it looks more like a square...
But for some reason my drawings in artPad are better than the ones i do in proper drawing programs! I dunno why though...
And im pretty pleased with the cleaver, i was going for a 'old metal' effect, like kinda scratched and tarnished, i think i did it okay.
