here is a recipe that we make for reunions.
Easy Oven Brown Stew
2lbs boneless beef cut into 1" pieces
3 stalks celery cut into 2' pieces
5 or 6 carrots cut into 1" pieces
2 medium onions quartered
4 medium potatoes quartered
1lb can tomatoes or 1 pint
1 can green beans drained (reserve liquid)
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup quick cooking tapioca
1 tbsp salt
1/3 tsp pepper
1 tbsp sugar
Spread meat in bottom of roaster or large pan. sprinkle tapioka over meat. Add celery, carrots, onions, potatoes and tomatoes. Combine liquid drained from beans, water and seasonings and pour over meat and veggies. Cover tightly and bake at 300 degrees for 4 to 4 and a half hours. Refrigerate the drained beans and stir into stew when it's done. for thicker stew use 1/2 cup of tapioca.

Butter or margarine
Bacon
optional: egg and baked beans
fry the bacon in butter#butter bread
put bacon in bread
put in oven and set to grill.
leave till nice and warm.
optional
add egg in side.
serve with beans

Hot milk
dark chocolate/milk chocolate... depends on you!
1: mix hot milk with oatmeal till sticky and not runny.
2: roll into many little marbles.
3: melt choc with a teaspoon of butter
4: stick cocktail sticks into marbles
5: dip in choccy while hot.
put on plate, wait till warm or cold...
