Actually she can, unless I have a huge flaw in my logical thinking.

After she has picked gloves 3 she can have:
3 black gloves.
3 brown gloves.
2 black gloves and 1 brown glove.
2 brown gloves and 1 black glove.

In all 4 scenarios she has one matching pair, and thus she can be certain after 3 picks.

I think she would have to pull out 13 gloves.

In worst case scenario she would pick
- 6 black left handed gloves (or 6 black right handed gloves)
- 6 brown left handed gloves (or 6 brown right gloves)
After that she always get a match.

Sure. After 12 gloves, she could have pulled out either all left-handed gloves or all right-handed gloves of both colors. The 13th would have to match with something, then.

Yay! I actually didn't thought that was right. It was the first thing that came to my mind.

Alright an easy one:

There is a house with 4 walls. Each wall has one window. When you look outside through the windows you always look at the south. How is that possible?
