That was my first guess too Hugo but I couldn't confirm it. That uniform is throwing me off...makes me wonder what time period this movie takes place...now...hundred years ago....or even further back?

Looks to be 18th or 19th century judging by the uniform in the background. I even found a list of every nautical movie ever made, but it was so long it was fruitless to search it.
