Someguy, it did become SMB 2 outside of Japan. It's not SMB 2 though. Google the history of that game.

The game I posted is not a Mario game at all, it was simply converted to SMB 2 outside of Japan.

@Heart - I'll give you one word of the title. I hope this doesn't confuse more than it helps, but the Lost Levels was actually SMB 2 in Japan. Nintendo decided that it was too difficult and didn't release it outside of Japan until many years later. They decided to convert a game called "_____ _____ Panic" into SMB 2 for the rest of the world.
