The game is not very clear on that part. I've seen posts where the one who picks the name says one but I've also seen posts where the next one starts with one.

So now it's 2 or is it already 3?

It's a little bit confusing and I think that I'm not making it any better.

I agree that is a bit confusing because nothing is said about it in the rules.
But usually the one who says 30, picks the next person as well. The person who posts next starts with 1.
