yeah, i know where to go and what to do so i think i'll be fine
it takes around 8 hours with one stopover in Melbourne so it's not too bad. I'm going on the late flight, 11:30pm, so it might feel longer than it is

I thought it would be less flying hours then that!!! 8 is still a lot but that is maybe also because of the stopover.
I think you are right that it might feel longer....it is so late in the evening and you have already been up for a whole day so I think you will be pretty tired afterwards.
Have a save flight and tell us all about your trip when you get back..
