                • Nice. I got to drive one of these bad boys when rice was a big crop just across the drainage ditch from my back yard. We just called them combines.

                    • Yeah. It was simple as playing with a giant Tonka toy. There is a big chute in the back you would offload onto the trucks in the field and keep going.

                            In Hungary we call them exactly the same, pronounced like combine, written like kombلjn. Lol.

                            Btw. the band is Jethro Tull up there.

                            • That is surprising Fern. I would have never thought that would be a common usage all over the world. Unfortunately most of the combines are scrapped for metal now and houses are going up in the rice fields I grew up around. That also means the migrating geese have changed course. Sad but life moves on.
