        • Two pans under the maypole. Hmm, maybe that walking around the pole has a name....time to ponder.

A student who changes the course of history is probably taking an exam.

As long as the answer is right, who cares if the question is wrong?

            • The two panes are two separate words, that share a certain similarity. (Don't overthink it, just say the first thing that comes to your mind.)

Congrats, you got the first word.
The second is a similar thing.
Now follow this logic and a certain Morse code will pop in.

Sorry guys, this was an idiotic idea, seems I've been watching too many Air Crash Investigation episodes lately...

                    • So Fern, does "may pole" mean "maple" (as in syrup) ?

EDIT: gonna attempt a steal from Jax.

                      ... --- ... ?

(scrub pans w/ an SOS pad ??)

                      • No, Jaxescaper's Morse says May Day, that's correct.
This riddle is full of distress...

                        Congrats, that's it!

May Day and pan-pan are both distress signals, so the Morse code must be SOS.
Made more sense when I made it, hehe...
