I have no idea as to that first pic. If it's a Spanish word, I'm sunk.

It's a Spanish / Mediterranean style building, and looks less than familiar.

looks like a PIT in the ground, and they are light BULBS.

Looking again, that looks like a small animal hole, or tunnel.

Guessing it must be "lights" then.
