Hmm... coffin without 'n' - coffee?
Some kind of coffee? Empty coffee? Black coffee? Dunno.

This one will earn me lapidation:

nice rebus ahra. Anybody got an idea what country that is for Ferns?

Looks like it has a coastline for the western border and possibly the southern as well. Not an island.

really stuck as well on first pic. For the second one is that to be taken as a sand sculpture? Oh POP, I just saw the black arrow. Hmm.

I had to look up lapidation. Cool word. We won't do that.

all I can think of is gargoyle.

...and then found this: the field of architecture usually preserves the distinction between gargoyles (functional waterspouts) and non-waterspout grotesques

              so, maybe "grotesque"

The opening word would appear to be something to do with cold, frozen. Then a place name. Then whatever the arrow wants...shoulder? Cold Shoulder.

sand witch = sandwich. If that comes to be Fern is automatic in the Hall of Fame LOL.

edit: I was also thinking cold cut. But why a geography pic? Major red herring?

Ah hah. So with the help of my worthy rebus solvers we have a cold turkey sandwich?

While we wait for confirming here is an intermission.

on track definitely, needs work to complete.

edit: Sugar is not part of the answer but part of the clue.
