Same for this fruit btw.. I once got ice with this flavor, but never the fruit itself.

It looks different than the pomegranates around here if it is. Maybe there are different types.

Sorry for the delay. No it's not a pomegranate. It's not even from the same family.
It belongs to the family of Solanaceae.
