Yes, Adventure, it's normal. This is special thread called "sticky". These sticky threads are usually important and therefore appear on top of every page :-)

Well, there are several Stickies in this area. They are at the top of each page but of course in the order of the newest post (Sticky with newest post at first place, sticky with a bit older last post in the second line etc.). So if this was the sticky with the oldest post among the stickies then it was maybe on 4th or 5th place on top part of the page :-)Comment
