Pfff, I haven't noticed we have this thread. It's kinda cool to know how ta say "Hi, how are you today?" in many languages. And since I have plenty of time today, I try and see if I can post with Japanese characters. (I hope everyone see them correctly..)

How to write with Japanese letters: こんにちは。お元気ですか?
How to describe with English alphabet: Kon nichiwa. ogenki desuka?

And how it sounds like: "Kon" is like "con" in "conscious", "nichi" is "niche", "wa" is like sound of "wo" in "wow". "o" sounds like "oh", "gen" is "gain" in "again", "ki" is "key", "desu" is "des" in "desk" and "ka" sounds like "ca" in "car".
          Phew, it's lots of works!

I know how to say it in Spanish, but I don't know how to type up-side down question mark or accent marks using my keyboard. After I figure it out, I would post again

            Hehe, just as a side-note:
As we often use translation tools for room escape games in Japanese, I just tried out what it would give me if I copy-pasted what you posted in Japanese:

And I'm not sure if I would have interpreted this translation correctly

Thanks for your post by the way

ROFL!! I re-translated it again by copy and paste it into the translator I usually use!! It's totally different form "Hi, How are you?"

I think they show up correctly as far as I can judge it.

                          Thanks Mistery

Well I couldn't figure out how to write/type Spanish using my keyboard, I try to copy and paste to make a sentence.

                          Hola. ?C?mo est??

This is "Hi. How are you?" in Spanish. But most of you would know the verb changes according to whom you're talking to. This is the greeting to the one you're not really familiar with.

                              @Mystery, yes, it is...
Spanish and Portuguese are two very similar languages...
                              Check the differences:
                              Spanish: "Hola. ¿Cómo está?"
                              Portuguese: "Olá. Como estás?"
