I saw that movie AGES ago!! I don't recall if I thought it was scary or not. But I do remember that the MUSIC was scary.

Well, I have a friend who is deathly afraid of sharks because of that movie. He watched it when he was a kid, and he's 29 now, and won't even get his feet wet in the ocean. I got him a shark tooth's necklace once.

He actually liked it. Go figure.
