true story behind the show: Ronnie Verrell, the drummer behind Animal, was a big fan of Buddy's but had never met him & was understandably nervous about meeting him, given Buddy's known penchant for perfectionism. Turned out that Buddy was a big fan of Ronnie, the two hit it off & the rest is musical history
