I am very happy that they all made it out, but I wish I could have been near a TV when Yonni came up. He is going to make his wife rich, rich, rich, when his book comes out Sorry for the sarcasm, it was a great international effort
I just saw the most extraordinary story on the Discovery Channel about a guy that has been blind since he was 13 months old. He taught himself echolocation, just like a dolphin does. He walks through an area while making clicking sounds, and has the ability to interpret the return echoes well enough to differentiate a tree from a shrub And he is going around the world teaching this skill to other blind people. That is fascinating to me, as a sea creature
WOW! That's seriously awesome. I wonder if I can find a link that that on their youtube channel or something? Hmm. I'm gonna see what I can find out. I can't imagine how that would work???
Thanks for the video. I had also read several scientific articles about it, and now I believe it's not fake. If I may believe the articles I read, everyone is able to learn it. After some weeks of training you should be able to recognize if you have an object on front of you or now. And with more training you can learn to identify different kind of objects. Interesting. I never heard of echolocation by humans before.
