People are funny. They are never content with what they have. i.e. we always want more. I have friends that live by the beach, and it is beautiful. They hate it. They complain about the sand, the sun, the wind, they aren't happy with a place that most people in the world would love.

Weather's cloudy and a little windy today, but the air is warm. I think I like this

Well I live in a city in the Gulf of Mexico, it's the 2nd most humid city in the world and it's awfully hot most days. I'd rather live in a dry area 'cause everyone is always sweaty around here, despite taking a bath and stuff. However, I'm pleased with this city because I've always lived here and it's a beautiful place. We've got a beautiful beach and beautiful girls year round ;D.
It tends to be windy sometimes in summer.
We're a little anxious about fall nowadays 'cause it gets windy and a lot more fresh. Although it doesn't snow, it's chilling cold in winter! But we're half-a-year away from that...

Right now we're all a bit worried cause hurricane Dean is gonna hit nearby. I live in the state of Tamaulipas, on the northern border of Mexico (we're TX neighbours) and the hurricane is forecasted to hit on Veracruz (south of my state). My city in particular is in the southwestern most tip, so we're expecting heavy rain and thunderstorms and the like.

We're not deeply concerned about the hurricane because there's a very funny story regarding weather around our town. In the past, several hurricanes have been headed our way, but all of them suddenly seem to turn around or just dodge the city, often going inland and causing major disaster inside the country. Thing is some say our city (Tampico) has an alien base on it's beach, and that these aliens are the ones responsible for guarding us from weather disasters. Sounds crazy huh? Just wanted to share a little something with you guys... =]
All in all, it's kinda windy and some rain showers drop by, let's hope our aliens don't chicken out on this one, 'cause Dean is about 3-size by now. Wish me luck! ^^

UPDATE: Woke up at 5AM next day, we've got heavy rain. No thunderstorms however. Schools are closing for a couple of days. It's kinda cold for our usual weather, and winds are about 20~25mph. It seems ocean waves' height ranges from 5~7meters high from what I've heard. Though the hurricane is now forecasted to hit quite to the south of the city, it seems we're in for one of those stormy days. I love it when it rains!

at about 8 am this morning it was really sunny
then from 8:30am it all went down hill really foggy, now its just cloudy
