It was a woderful day it was awesome like upper seventies its been like this, the whole week it is awesome everything has bloomed out overnight. Everyones allergies are acting up though so it comes at a cost.
The sun tries to come through the clouds but is not very succesfull.
It doesn't rain yet but it sometimes gets darker so I don't know if we will keep it dry today.
From now on, this is how it is going to be, just her and me
We kept it dry today! We made a short hike before dinner. We spotted a black domestic bunny, dumped by people. We tried to catch but it was too quick for us. I hope it will adapt - it happens sometimes but rarely. It is a good spot for rabbits (enough food and good ground), but I doubt it will survive. I guess it will become a pray for a bird of pray or a dog.
We had a neighbour who would let his rabbit wander up and down the street. Everyone got so used to seeing it in their front garden that neither humans nor animals ever bothered it.
After the temps literally jumped up at 25-27°C (~ 78 F), we're back at 10°C (~ 50 F) and it's rainy.
But at least we had some warm and sunny days, so it's not that bad
Two days ago the day started chilly with some rain, but the day ended with sun.
Yesterday is was sunny until the late afternoon. After that it became cloudy and windy.
Today it has been cloudy all day, and it already rains for several hours. I don't mind the rain because it was becoming too dry for the plants.
But before that, it was very sunny with temperatures between the 20-25 degrees Celsius.
A storm ravenged my state last night flooding across the state, over roads, downed trees in teh west part of the state over a 14 inches of rain has fallen today another system has already passed them its in middle tennessee and pounding down more rain we are almost under flood conditons here the rivers are overflowing their banks filing up the fields that surrond them i wish i had pics but you can probably find some on google. Or search Tennessee flooding, five people have died so far in west tennessee.
Severe flooding killed at least five people in central Tennessee on Saturday, officials said, as floodwaters inundated roads, highways and homes in and around the Nashville area.
Just updated 9 people have died so far. I40 one of the major interstates is closed and I24 just closed they look like rivers right now aother few inches are going to be coming the rest of the day. roads have enough water they are running as fast or faster than the river. No one is supposed to be on the roads in west tennessee, they have opened the floodgates in memphis the water is receading currently the worst of the weather has moved into middle tennessee not to far from me maybe 1 or 2 hours away before we get seriously hit. Nashville is starting to flood people are stuck on bridges becasue the rivers have flown around both sides of the bridge 14-15 inches now. I am typing as the weather channel is talking thats why it keeps changing flooding theat is a big problem. since we have so many rivers around here if it flooded worse than it is now i will not be able to leave my road every exit has a major river crossing.
Govenor bredison has confimed that there are 7 dead here. and two in kentucky. Record flooding breaking the old flooding records have been broken up to 5 feet worse flooding ever in tennessee water is 22 feet above flood level in one river. Records have been smashed around the state for flooding. the edges of the storm are touching the corners of my county in nashvile over 15 inches of rain. Or up to 22 inches in isolated areas. More widespread flooding than the storm that went to Atlanta and flooded the city closing most of the roadwasy last year. 3-5 more inches today or tonight but expected to get twice that in areas. I will try to keep you guys posted and sorry for the EXTREMLY long post but they have been updating while i was typing so i kept typing.
EDIT: JSut after i finished typing this the rain started hitting us and the wind has picked up. we have Doubled our flooding records this is a histrorical storm they are saying.
EDIT2: A dam in kentucky is about to fail water is flowing around adn over it they are evacuating it now. 6 more inches possible now
for now yes we are in a mountanous area so it doesnt flood like the other part of the state but it is raining heavily and the rivers are all ready flooded. i might not have school tomorrow The rivers arund here are in low lying areas so they dont flood everywhere but the bridges are already coverd by the rivers in places so the roads do flood and with a lot of rain coming this way idk if we will be able to leave anytime soon
I'm glad to hear that you're safe so far. I'm really sorry for everyone who is affected by the flood Water can do much damage
Keep us updated on the situation, and take care
OMG, that's really terrible news. I am glad you are safe though. I hope the storms and rain stops soon. Yes, please keep us updated. Take very good care.
10 people dead now flood waters rapidly receading in western tennessee thats good should be back to normal by tonight supposibly over here the waters are rising again and the lakes should be full, they werent going to put water in them because of the ash spill last year but they are full now . First band of rain still going through and the bad parts are still coming.
