the highest it's ever got here in new zealand is like 42 (degrees celsius) which is really high for us and the lowest it's ever got is -22 degrees celsius
it's cold in Wellington and has lots of rain i don't think it's ever snowed in Wellington though

It's October 21st, and we're still at 87 F (approx. 30 C) here!!

LOL. Nope. Not at all. We've been known to get down to the upper teens at times. (Not common.) But our winters normally go down to the mid 20's and low 30's F at night.
And autumn is usually cooler than this by now. Wouldn't be abnormal if it were still September though...
