Wonderful graphics, dear alien! I so can't wait for the preview game to be done. (I know you can't say when it will be done, considering all your alienish projects and research you're currently working on. ) Can I spend my next vacation in your beach hut, though?

Since my previous post is more than a month old, I'm double posting exceptionally

Unfortunately I had a lot of other things to take care of in the past weeks, so that I didn't work on the game. But of course it was very often present in my head, and I've had some ideas in the meantime.

Now I hope that I can get back to it again. Currently I'm creating some artwork, and also test out different things - for example the interface and scripting solutions.
I'm not sure yet how the interface will look, but I'm posting one of my technical test screens (as you see the items are not yet created, so I've used simple images as placeholder ). Also the screens will be bigger with 800x600 pixels, this image is resized.

Although I'm pretty sure that the final version will look completely different from that. So just to tell you that I'm planning to finish this game some time this year.

As a fellow game developer, I understand how you feel. I'm currently working on a project with some of my friends to create this brain killing puzzle game, and sometimes we wish it was just finished. It takes a lot of effort, patience, coffee and most important of all creativity and dedication.
I thus encourage you to keep up the fantastic work (the game's graphics remind me of Myst) and I'm sure many of GH's members think the same I do: your work is simply amazing and most certainly worth waiting for.

Yes, you are right - it takes a lot of effort, patience, coffee, creativity and dedication - I couldn't have said it better.

Wow, those graphics look amazing Mystery. They really get better and better with every game. Of course I can't wait to play it, although I can bring up the patience. But besides the final graphics I am also very curious what kind of mind crackers you will put in this time. And I am sure the music will be nice and enjoyable to listen to aswell. The music was what make it a pleasure to replay Save the earth several times. Keep up the GREAT work!
