If you want to make a game, you need Macromedia Flash MX 2004 (for example) Or Macromedia Director what's more difficult, but let you to do a 3D style.

Or you could just use Game Maker, which is free. There is a registered version which costs around 20 dollars, but it doesn't really come with anything that would be that useful for this kind of game. You can get Game Maker at http://www.gamemaker.nl.

Thanks, i'm making another (that'll be something like 56000000000 by now hehe =]) zelda game, themed on the N64 game: Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.
It's going to be a computer 2-D version of that, anyone that has it here could they post if they think it's a good idea or not?

Oh yeah, it is well worth registering, because you can download games like Doomed and Cursed Unded, Blue lady ect. ect.
It's a great game maker programme and it is well worth giving a try. It's quite complicated at first, but you'll soon get used to it, just download a couple of the games there and look at the stuff they've done. (Most downloaded games are only playable if you have registered your version of game maker.)

I dont know if i'ts small (probably is, theres only a couple of levels.) And i do know that it's an adventure game, you could host it as a non-downloadable game though... could you? Well, here it is, it's the attachment on my post here, it's called ninja man and it's my first EVER game properly distributed. (so it might be really rubbish, but yet, don't laugh please, i know it's a bit pathetic, but i'm working on the upgrades.)

I have a query about the "game address" section:

I put that in the game address but when I hover/press the [send] button absolutely zilch happens. It doesn't even turn black... i've put the wrong thing in the box haven't I...

It's working fine, you just have to scroll down on the page to see the download link.

But if you have difficulties with this host, just try another one.
Sorry I can't tell you which one is better because I have my homepage and I don't need them.
