I haven't seen an armor buble.
Do have apple and wish I had mapped the area .. I've been to town to shop and will head off to see the witch. Stopping to shop near the cobblers. - enough for tonight.
Back to the witches now and found out what I needed next.
soft wheat flour, dwarven Sugar, raisins and Quizzical Sweets
Sept 22
Have last two items. This island? has no rest areas or the option to buy a cup of coffee or a chocolate chip cookie. *sigh*
Alan lvl 17, wolf and witch lvl 16.
Thebig hairy ape guy - lvl 21 I think - what is his weakness?
Have first item .. just 2nd item to go get.
And a thunder storm moving in - so heading off-lne.
Pricy sugar! - So after shopping some more will head to Halloween town. Upgraded two weapons. All I could afford. They only take cash.
ARGH! Glad I saved before leaving town. DIED. Its late at time for bed.
sept 23 -I have cookie! & now potion. Enough for today. Next back to dwarf's town to upgrade once again as I've got some spare change.

Half way to first gate shopping at the covered wagon. Going through the maze area between gates.Shopping after last gate. and saved.

Is lvl 20 high as one can go?
In sleeping - will try potion tomorrow.
6 Oct - headed that way. some wicked battles.
Some general tips from someone who has finished the game:
1. There are three different types of character
Hook and Wolf are Melee Characters
Alessa and Jack are Magic Users
Alan and Pea are Hybrid Characters
2. Some things about these characters:
Hook ends up stronger, Wolf ends up faster (Personally, I prefer Wolf, because quantity is better than quality here, IMO)
Alessa is a much better Spell User than Jack, but dies a lot if you aren't careful and her melee is crap
Pea and Alan are both Hybrids, but Pea leans towards Magic and Alan towards Melee.
3. Notes on General Battle Strategy:
This may seem like common sense, but pick two characters (other than Alan) and stick with them. Don't dilute your experience, unless you want a neverending game.
Some characters
(read: Alessa and Pea)
have weapons with
innate elemental attacks.
Be careful with them; you might heal your enemy.
Alan and Wolf can synchronize attacks if you level them right.
This can lead to some excellent strategies (read: freeze and damage).
Bubbles of different levels are treated as separate, so you can equip 3 different Dreams Bubbles and 3 different Life bubbles on your armor if you need to.
Ice (and sometimes Medusa) are your friends. Solidifying a General or Prince may be the difference between a character living or dying (and having to be revived - those potions cost a lot, not to mention the character loses the experience if the battle ends).
Teach your Melee user(s?) magic. Wait, what? Yup. A good de-freeze or de-stone spell will get your other characters back up and fighting for only 5 DP.
Even Wolf can manage a few of those.
Make use of the
Turbo, Multiple Attack, Counter Attack and Surprise
Bubbles. They WORK. Put
Multiple Attack and Counter Attack
together for a super special character. Literally - all those extra attacks make their special bar shoot up like mad.
4. Item Notes
Counter Attack, Surprise and Turbo can all be found buried in the Zzz Woods. Multiple Attack is in the Dwarf Village.
You land. A guard is angry, blah, blah, blah. Once everything is over, go to Hook's house, let him train you, come back, let Jack join you, and search and leave the castle. Scour the town for holes, chests and closets. Leave town.
2. Unlocking Drowzy Gate
Go to the Cobbler, get the plasticine, go to the Gate, get the imprint, go back to the Cobbler, clear out his forest (scouring the place for holes), get the key, open the gate, rejoice. Oh, and talk to the wolf.
3. Shattering the Shield
Go to Darkville, talk to the witch in black. She'll tell you what to do. Scour Darkville for holes, chests and closets while you're here.
a) Seeds
Go to the farm, talk to Tom Thumb (the crabby one to the north), de-weed his garden (east), talk to him again, get the seed, go back to the witch. Scour the farm and buildings for holes, chests and closets on your way out.
b) Pea
Go through Drowsy Gate to Pea's Cottage. If you want her in your party, be nice, if not, kill her (if you can). Obtain the pea, whether by force or by kindness, leave. Is there anything to scour here? I don't remember. Doesn't matter; scour anyway. Scour everywhere. Go back to the witch.
c) Apple
Go to Halloween City, pick up Wolf, go through the gate, cut across the desert to get to the dwarves (Yes, you can do that, just run away from any Beasts you see.), make sure you have enough healing items for the Tree Fight, go into the Zzz Woods, scour for holes (and, oddly enough, a chest). Fight the tree (hint - Wolf is healed by its Earthquake), get the apple, go back to the witch.
NB: From this point on, Gepetto's armies will have taken the towns. The streets will no longer be safe, except in the Dwarven Village
d) Cookie (or Muffin, depending on which witch you ask ;P)
Talk to the witch in the back. Talk to the witch in the front (who tells you where the sweets are). Go to the candy shop, get the sweets, leave Darkville. Go to the farm, talk to Primus (Oh, sorry, Primo. His mistake), get the withered currant (read: raisin) from his field (East? Can't remember). Go through Drowzy Gate, cut across the desert, enter the Dwarven Village, get the Dwarven Sugar, leave. Cut across the desert, go to Sleeping City. Have you scoured here yet? If not, do so. Go to the mill, get the -Incredibly Friggin' Soft Flour Which Has No Equal No Literally We're The Only Mill In All Of Dreamland-, leave the City, go to Halloween City, get the witch to bake the cookie (muffin?), go back to Darkville, get the potion.
4. Chewing Bubble Gum and...Well, you know.
NB: There is a vendor right in front of the Princesses' Castle. It has every spell ever at level 3 and every item ever, period. Useful, huh?
Did you want to go kill...errr...Vincent, was it? Before the Princesses? He's at '???' on the map. Scour the area around his hideout. It has lots of goodies.
The Princesses' Castle is safe. No random encounters. Scour in peace for holes. There is only one item of interest though, a level 3 explosion orb in the maze. The rest are potions, dreams and elixirs (Oh, sorry, Elisirs. His mistake) of varying strengths.
Kill PC, then Kill the Princesses. Rejoice, for you have won, and found Juseppes (Giuseppe? Duceppe? Both of these are real names...my idiot box can't contain THAT name), which was all you really wanted in the end, because this land of magical encounters and freakin' awesome superpowers (let's admit it, freezing people solid is a superpower) is nowhere near as cool as your normal life, and you totally want to go home and be boring old you again, instead of THE HERO OF A WHOLE FREAKING KINGDOM. Where's Gepetto, bee tee dubs? And your other 3 friends?
5. Boss Notes
Wanna know how much HP your current opponent has? Poison them. Poison 3 does a very loose average damage of around 1/35 of your opponent's health bar per pop (the effect, not the original attack) Yes, that means that errr...Vincent, was it? has somewhere around 70 000 health!
Poison Vincent. It's the only way. It's also the only status effect he isn't immune to.
Buy Shields, Adrenaline, and Total Elixirs. They work.
The princesses are all immune to Darkness, Chaos, Medusa, Freeze and Fire. You can poison Sleeping Beauty (front and centre) and Cinderella (in the back). You can cast Empty Mind on Cinderella, which helps a lot, and I think Snow White as well (I might be misremembering that one, but two of the princesses can be Minded for sure). Make sure someone has Break Mirror. It only costs 5 DP, and those mirrors are ANNOYING.
Make sure your characters all have their best weapons and armour. They're going to need them.
I had The Multiple Attack and Counter Attack bubbles on Alan. The extra attacks boosted his special bar, and with the Crystal Dominator's multiple targeting on special attacks, the Princesses were a snap.
i never finished this - bored - so giving it another go on this rainy day. On my way to visit Pea .. saved and that is it for today.
map http://www.foofa.net/maps/UnfairyTal....php?map=World
Well - got a bit done before the thunder storm moved my way. (10 Sept)
Visited Pea, then to store to buy pea, back to Pea's - and now need to head to witches if I remember right. (15 Sept)
3 Oct: I've been back to witches and now off for an apple with wolf along. Hmm.. do I have to have him selected as part of my party? I opted to use wolf for now and bought him something and now headed toward the forest. Sure wish I had more money .. is there a cheat code for that
I wish there was a cheat code for money!! the most ive had is about 100,000 but i spent it all on Lvl 3 bubbles at a merchants.
i have the best weapons and armour from the darkville town, but i know that the best **** is at the dwarven village, but i cbf saving up all my money again, lol. my party is, Alan, Alessa and Pea, they all have lvl 3 dream bubbles, as i am working on a spellcaster sort of team, i have stocked up on hp and dp potions, so atm i dnt have much 'denari' any ideas on the best team?
