Two extremely short levels, then you sacrifice yourself on the third? Is that really it?

Jack, as far as I have understood, it's interactive - the game saves the sacrificed characters of players, so that the following players will be helped. When you sacrifice yourself you can also type in a message for the next player that will encounter your character.
The first player who reaches the star, will get a small reward.

So this is the experiment, how will it turn out - will the players be able to help one of the players reach the star by sacrificing themselves?

I am not too sure anymore but the wisdom I got was something about using baking soda and peroxide as cleansing and saving a lot of money.

I am getting a black screen. I hear the music, but the game doesn't load.

Hmm now it loads but it seems the game was reset. All previous progress is gone.

Edit: Game doesn't load with IE for me.

If you have sacrificed yourself, you will see a black screen, and your blinking eye
It's so meant that you can only play it once (well it's possible to play it again; not sure if you need to have a different IP, or cache and cookies cleaned though).

Maybe the players piled their characters up, so that nobody could have won it, and it was reset. Just an idea.

Seems to be up again. Works for me with IE and FF.

BTW it looks like the previous reset of the progress was undone. I wonder if the star can be reached from the construction on the left. Almost there..

Somebody "sacrificed" themselves in such a way as to block the path!

Also, my sacrifice button at the bottom of the text box that pops up doesn't work. I don't know if that is a problem with Firefox or with the fact that I am unable to move past the guy that tells you how to sacrifice.

Edit: I just tried in Opera. Same problem. Safari won't load it for me at all and I refuse to download IE.
