I get the blank screen too in the end
If u want to know how to get past the monster with the gun just right before passin the wooden bridge jump down to a door-opening lever just like u opened the city gates and the door at the monster will open and u must jump every laser-shot the monster shoots go near him and just keep pressing X and u'll absolutely kill him
