Can't do simple ascent. Jump towards wall, push off at height of jump to bounce away?

Looks like a great game but unfortunately little guy has me for a pilot so its not gonna happen.

Same with me...sorry looks like my type of game but now ay I can make those jumps...

When you make the jumps don't hold the up arrow. When you hit the wall push the opposite direction's arrow right away.

I liked this game a lot except it really lagged for me... but maybe this is my computer? IDK.
