Snow Queen is the last boss before getting to the hidden place on board 14 which is great for money.

To beat her I used a 150 katana, all the fire I could find and Nin Nin from the forest board. I camped in the pyramid on board 6 and killed a lot of Pharoahs for gold. I also upped my endurance on board 6 to around 300

Eventually your swords will literally be larger than the screen

After you get to the place RBS is talking about the game gets easier. You can kill a lot of enemies from earlier boards there in one hit and they give you a ton of money.

lol so now i just need to get my katana up a few more levels and enchant it more with fire

I read if you beat the Avatar with the star turned on you get a rainbow apple but I haven't confirmed that.

I can't imagine what kind of stats you would need to do that. I have 1000 Onyxes in my sword, the sword itself is over level 10,000, my power and vitality stats are both over 3,000 and he kills me in 1 second flat with the star on. The couple of hits I get on him do no visible damage either.

I can't imagine it either. I am about the same stats and could barely dent necromancer on board 11 in star mode. I agree with one poster in jaygames forum that it must be for masochists.

I googled Auto-Click and found a tool that will click for me. I am using the one from brothersoft. I put the cursor over the shrine button or sword upgrade button and hit F3 and off it goes. I have mine set at one click every 4/100th of a second.

Okay, out of sheer curiosity I hacked the save file to kill avatar with the star equipped. The level you need to be to have a chance is far too high to get by fighting. I made it so the sword had over a million onyxes so I could kill him. There is no extra reward BTW.

LOL You pretty much have to cheat to kill avatar with the star on. Doing it legitimately would take playing 24 hours a day until you reach your golden years. I wish I had cheated earlier. I just about got carpal tunnel defeating some of the enemies. I did save my cheat-free file though.

Thanks for the heads up and its safe to say I am DONE with this one then. It was really fun getting thru the regular mode.

It makes me want to go back and play Ultima IV again. That game did have an ending. I believe I saw a free download somewhere.
