I've got 24 shine sprites so far, but I dunno if there are any more.
I found:

-4 in Bob-Omb battle Field
-3 in Hazy Maze Cave
-4 in Rainbow Ride
-3 in Tall Tall Mountain
-2 at Bowser level
-4 more inside the big Star door, each one inside one of the four doors.
U can find 3 more outside the castle, entering the black windows and at Kamek's wand, besides the one u get in the introduction.

If some1 can get anymore shines, please write here.

There are two extra stars out at the front of the castle. There's an open window on the left and one at the top of the tower.

Oops, just read the previous post properly. I have 25, I got the last one above the door to Bowsers level (mushroom).

Can anyone tell me where the 4 shine sprites are in Rainbow Ride. I have 24 shines sprites and it's driving me crazy that I can't find the fourth shine sprite in the Rainbow Ride.
