if anybody gets past where you give the giant thing the purple frog in part 3 then please say how because im stuck there

Just behind the giant thing is a silver panel. Click on it, then click on the boy and he will fall down.

Take it to where the giant thing's chain attaches to the wall. Click on it and the boy will bend it. Then give it to the giant thing and he will give you another piece in return.
