A sequel to Pandemic. This game takes away the options of adding and subtracting specific symptoms , infectivity and resistance and gives you the minimum. There are a few more areas to infect, and provides statistics on human strenght and the strenght of your virus. This game also allows the option of controling your virus' ations and movement, such as infecting the airport, water supply or just spread, but this takes away points to improve the stats of the virus so use your points wisely this time around. IMO this is harder than the last, can you exterminate mankind this time ?! ^.-

no its got a few more features which improves it by being able to control your virus. but its still not that great game.

i like the idea. but it needs to be improved

how do you earn points?
i mean, i know i have to infect more people to earn points, but how do i do that?

I can't get infected more than 3 or 4 countries....it's driving me nuts *argggh*

Has anyone managed to infect the whole planet? If so, what strategy would you recommend?

Global Infection

I've managed to get global infection twice now, but not at a very high score. So this method needs to be refined.

Step 1: If you did not get Greenland or South Sea, restart. One of the things that will cost you late in the game is infecting these two before they develop a cure. Since the only way to/from these two land masses is by plane, you will save yourself alot of heartache by starting off with one of these infect.

Step 2: Increase your infection rate to 3 on your first move. This will help the virus spread.

Step 3: Spread the virus in your home country fully before moving elsewhere. This will increase the ability to infect a plane as well as leave you without worry from this country.

Step 4: Send a plane elsewhere. Once you land in the Americas or Eurasia, max the spread in the initial country there and make sure you have 70% of a country infected before you spread to another.

Step 5: Spread to countries that have developed cures first. Those who are 3 or 4 steps into a cure pose an immediate thread and you must have the virus in the country to attempt to attack the cure.

Step 6: Focus on spreading primarily until you have everyone infected. Spend little points on Attacking cures as possible and only if they are at stage 4. Spend the rest on spreading and infecting planes to try and hit the last island.

Step 7: Once you have everyone infected, up the lethality and cruise to the finish.

I get 450 points with this method spending about 100 days to wipe the world
