Hi everyone...this is my first post...I usually just use gamershood as a "guide"...without giving input and or suggestions...Obviously some are masterful at these games...I guess I am a bit of a beginner to most(started about a month ago)...but I do enjoy the puzzle and escape genres.
Anyways I registered...and hope to contribute if possible...here goes my first contribution...(I think) I noticed that people are having some trouble with the "think outside the box level". So am I. I still haven't finished but I might be on to something. I will try to be descriptive as I possibly can.( I don't remember how to transfer a screen on to MS Paint.) I have found that if you trap the ball in a confined space it will pass through a line above it.(it takes a few seconds sometimes...but if you've waited more than 20 seconds than try to redraw the box)I usually start this level, by painting a box around the ball( make sure none of your lines are touching the red ball and the box you paint isnt too small or too big...about 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch works good for me.
What good is this? Well, I am still not certain...but it's a good starting point. After I make the "box" I contain the ball by drawing a line on the left, then carefully draw a line with a very slight pitch to the right over the solid black center beam. I usually draw this line until it is a couple of inches from the right side then I paint a funnel-like structure that curves under the center beam.
Here's where it's gotten tricky for me...because the ball usually gets stuck at some point in my funnel...I have tried thickening the lines but that doesnt seem to help. I've gotten to the lower left quadrant a couple times just not all the way to the exit. Perhaps someone can add to this strategy.
