help!!!! Still can't find the bottle you are talking about. I've clicked everywhere in the witch's hut and I still don't have it.

First you have to add the ingredients in the correct order into the kettle and boil them.

After you get a message that you have boiled them and can fill the bottle with the magical fluid, try to use the same object again on something that looks hot as you used for reading the book.

Yeah the people that rebuilt my computer have a pretty good knowledge about the XP version too. There really are problems with it. They even showed me some examples of it when I took my computer in. That is why I had mine rebuilt. Since then I have had no prblems. I can understand that other things might have contrbuted here though. It still does not change my feelings on this version though. It has a reputation with me. You should not buy a new XP version computer and 3 months later have problems. Ya know what I mean!

thats what the updates are for I really haven't had many problems with XP (I mostly do games on this laptop, along with word proccessing, but nothing really heavy duty), and besides what other O/S should I use for PC huh?

also, I'm having another strange problem in that when I try to run it, a popup comes up saying that my display is set to large font and that this runs best on small font and won't work properly on large fonts and suggests I change it, but I don't have a small fonts setting for my display and when I play the game, it makes itself into a larger box and sometimes the images move around. I wonder if the problem is related more to how they programmed the game because I don't remember getting this error with a game and most games should automatically adjust to the font size or font size of the display doesn't affect the game.

Hi smjjames. I programmed the game but I don't know exactly why you experience this problem. Most people don't have any problems, now I know 2 of maybe 100 people who have a problem. I'm in contact with the person who made the program that I use, I will ask about this problem, too. Glad I know it.
Still I hope that the game is enjoyable even with these strange things. :-)

I should work if you drag the box on the water that is running from the tube from the wall.

Just check it: if the box is white, it's empty. If it's blue, it is filled.

In the scientist's place where you have found the box ;-)
If you need to go back, go outside the hut of the witch and click the bottom middle of the screen. Then you fly back to the scientist's place

Actually, a 3 month old computer should not crash or glitch out in basic programs like mine did. It had nothing to do w/ "updates" which I am consistent about. It was found, by the company I bought my compter at, that there really was a problem. After I sent my warrentied computer back TWICE and they agreed there was an XP problem, and claimed to fix it both times. The third time I finally took it somewhere else to someone I know and trust well and had it rebuilt. Today, ever since my problems = nada! I even do updates. I'm not in the slightest way computer ignorant! btw I use a laptop too. I find my regular PC annoying. I like the mobility of having my laptop go everywhere with me (and therefore so does GamersHood!).

Anyway, it sounds like your problem is either resolution or that you need to default your fonts.
