I must admit, that even with the real puzzle grid I do get a word, which only takes me back to segment 1, and I can't see how any of the previous segments could possibly have another answer so I'm stuck.

The only thing about your posts that sticks out to me are those smiley faces, and I can't see how those would help.

It's nothing to do with the smileys. Think outside the box. Maybe there is a reason I can't give more of a clue.

Some of you are very close to the end. If you want some good news the last few levels are really easy.

Honestly I'm not sure whether this is actually a clue or if Sammy was just being cryptic again.

jack: I don't know if this is why I don't get your hints, but I can't even get a word out of this like some of the others on this segment despite having the correct grid as far as I can see.

Edit: Ok, it seems my problem is that I assumed that when the instruction page says that the puzzles are self-contained that actually meant self-contained rather than needing external programs...so I have a word now and am working on getting an answer.

Is there a way to play this out of full-screen mode? Each time I try to check the thread for a hint, I have to exit the game to do so, then start all over.

Speaking of hints, I'm confused on the Bob and Dave question. I've tried backtracking, but when I get to the

cm in one m question

it sends me back to segment 1.

Because of the Windows "font problem" that used to exist on some non-USA/Canadian computers, players who are located outside of North America were at a slight disadvantage in playing the game.
