Yes

First check to the right of the dresser next to the sofa. Click the plug. Then you'll be able to click the lamp to get the bulb

the switch plate and combined with screws, now I am lost as where to put it

Have you tried to

put your brush into the paint to get some paint on it, and then paint the walls?
