a spot in the treasure box, but can't pick it up

Well, it seems that I have not proceeded far enough. I have just started the game. In the first screen

I got a lamp to come on, made a brick fall out of the wall. There is a locked chest the brick sits on and a hole in the wall that is missing something. I can go left to another brick wall with a locked door.

I haven't found any keys. Just been doing a lot of random clicking all over that has thus far yielded nothing but the brick in the first scene.

Oh. And the first scene is half in shadow...

Oh good lord. I finally got the arrow to move to the right...Now I have a black key and a lamp.

also go to the right in the dark room; just click at the far right edge of the screen (an arrow will show when you're holding your mouse on the correct place)

trying to use all my stuff on things but not much is happening.

Try to find a place where you can use

the green key

Yeah...

I clicked on the red thing in the upper right corner and it came down a little. I opened the pink box and used that object combined wth a couple other things to get the blue thing. Now I'm just sort of stuck clicking all over the place and trying to use my inventory items on things.
