Escape from the Homemade Room 2 is the sequel to Escape from the Homemade Room 1 point and click type room escape game from creator of Escape From Original Room and Dreams of Escape from a Room games. In this game, you are in a room and you need to escape the room by finding and using items with solving puzzles. Good luck and have fun!

I'm completely lost what to do to get out lol.

I put a screwdriver in the doorknob (?)
Threw away a piece of paper. Have another paper I don't understand. A cup full of broken glass. A pencil. Several areas I can do nothing with.

Use the

Pencil where you used the screwdriver. At some point you can take the crumpled paper out of the trash and use it there as well, although I don't know what triggered that. The game didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Well, have 4 items - had 5 but combined. Now something odd happened that makes no sense at all. Weird .. and not sure what it is now.
Got distracted with my soap .. have since found another item which I can't get to work where I thought it should.
