Gonna give it a try

Edit:
Found so far:

Unfolded cube, hook, pawn of chess and a flashlight (without batteries or bulb).
Also found some toolbox on a shel in the bedroom, but looks I can't reach it.
Pretty much stuck now

Kind of wandering around aimlessly now.

So far I have found

an open cube
a rubix cube piece, blue (used on open cube)
a flashlight
a battery (used on flashlight)
a CD

in the bathroom with the lights of I've found the codes
"G6" and
1 1 1 1
but they don't seem to work on anything

also found a clickable glowing panel (with lights off) that says you
hear something...no idea what that something was though

Edit: After hitting the

glowing panel, another door is opened. Go left from bathroom and the left door is now open

Edit 2:
Found a

key in room I just mentioned. Click somewhere between the chessboard and grey chair.
Also can put my chess piece on the board, but no clue what to do yet.

Used

key on lower right drawer next to the bed and found A kind of Switch. Guess it belongs to the toy train (it does )

Wolf, if you're still here, where did you find the

battery and cube piece?

okay...I can't seem to find the key that you mentioned between

the chess board and the gray chair...also, where is the blue cube piece and the chess piece?

in the grey chair. Click around the cushion.

Blue piece

under the carpet in the train room. While facing the door click the carpet corner.

chess piece

in the bedroom. while facing the opened closet, click either behind the plant pot or near cloth hangers at the bottom. Also in the other view of the closet, click right to the yellow thing.

Zooming in is very helpful in this game

Hmm, this looks like a room I've visted before except that door to the basement is already open.
What views this place has. 5 items found. At least 9 things now. Have combined and used .. should have kept better track. Had to chuckle that they hadn't repaired bathroom wall.
I'm at 42% and need to quit for awhile. Do some email, find a snack .. just when I think it is time to look for help, I find something else. So doing OK so far..

I found a

screwdriver. Locked in a drawer whose key is locked in another drawer.

When you assemble the flashlight you can

see an invisible door. I just don't know how to open it. It must be the chess pieces.

you can also see things in the bathroom

The cube pieces are linked to

the writing panels. If you think you got it look at the green panels on the wall.
