I can't pick up scissors from drawer. I thought maybe I would use those on the book and cut out the last piece, but, ahh,no.

I have two empty inventory spots...3rd from left top row and last one on bottom row. Everything else I have used....

You need to make it by combining

Sugar and a spoonful of baking soda with the ladle.

Look on top of the cupboard for cutters. Use them somewhere on the drum on the floor to get a rope to tie up the man with.

Oh oh ok I found something

Click at the top of the book shelf, there's a pair of pliers, use them on the black curly bit of the sand timer which gives you a rope, use the rope on the guy in black, he drops the key which you use on the bird cage. Click on the bird and it'll sit on the tiles you need to click to find puzzle piece number 3

That's as far as i've got, hope this helps
