g is behind one of the snowflake blocks (2nd from right I think) and the y is by the gold doors of the "ship" when you're zoomed in (look to the right of the doors for a hotspot)

Same here. I've one yellow ball and ca't seem to use it anywhere. Tried restarting the game, but still can't do anything. Can anyone tell me where to use the blank yellow ball?

go into the next room and place the ball in the claw-shaped holder next to the "thunderstick" case. I needed to select the yellow ball and click a few times on the holder for it to work for me
