I think that it is the angles for the things on the door.

and hearth = 90
I'm not out yet so I don't know if it is correct, but looks like it

you have to have club, diamond, heart & spade - so you can rotate ones on closet. Think degrees

I long ago moved the chair and stood on it - turned out the light and opened curtain to see if the problem was that light was too hot to handle. That didn't work. Screwdriver didn't help ..

make sure light is off first then get cover off then move chair

i turned the light off and used the coin to take the cover off

they arent blue books they are what looks to be blacklight bulb type things but i cant put them in the light sockets

I've clicked all over the cover in the dark, with windows open, with chair under the desk, with chair away from the desk, with the items in my inventory ..
*sigh* .. still trying.around the edges, in the middle, around the brown, ..

There are two lines of items. Maybe you didn't look low enough?
Should I have taken care of above before putting the box in place?

I don´t find the club(imposible to get above the clock) and even the cover.
POP get th club. Where is the spade?

I've restarted:

black item in drawer - goes on clock, coin under chair

to the right

screwdriver under sofa

note need for 3 digit code. To the right - note curtain and light switch. and on to the right. Find three items.

key, diamond & club - look at them!

desk wall - use an item to get item 4. You can place item 4 some place.

examine picture, remove paper from back - use to figure out a code

I've looked up and tried to remove the cover of the light several times now - nothing.
Open cupboard. How to do code is mentioned in an earlier post by someone.

heart and a box

open closet - get item 6 2nd row.
Yahoo!! (doing a jig .. celebration .. now catching my breath) - got the cover removed. YES!

used coin along cover and brown area at far side - chair out so left side of chair is in middle of drawers of desk. box has not been added to clock.

added an item and got item 6 in top row. Used that item and got a puzzle. Don't think I've seen any hints to this!

OK with special lights and the picture up "backwards" I get information. I've used 3 shapes on the new puzzle thing. tried keys on the other shape - nothing appeared to have happened.

and the box from the cupboard was stuck inside clock and I got a 3 digit code. Haven't used
